Brief Layout of LAS Terminal

Harry Reid International Airport contains four runways made of solid concrete. 

• 1L/19R: 8,988 by 150 feet (2,740 m × 46 m)
• 1R/19L: 9,771 by 150 feet (2,978 m × 46 m)
• 8L/26R: 14,515 by 150 feet (4,424 m × 46 m)
• 8R/26L: 10,526 by 150 feet (3,208 m × 46 m)

It has over a hundred gates in different passenger terminals and operates flights to multiple destinations. In addition, every terminal is divided into separate concourses: A, B, C, D, and E, and D is a satellite concourse. Each terminal offers boarding facilities, such as check-in counters, baggage carts, restaurants, cafes, and similar stores. 

Passenger Terminals At LAS Airport

Harry Reid International Airport has a total of 110 departure and arrival gates divided into two separate terminal buildings. Each has its own concourse and amenities for delivering flight services to its customers. Since the two terminals are not physically connected, passengers must know the operating terminal of their concerned airlines.

Terminal 1

This terminal is quite spacious and provides ample room for a check-in baggage claim, including a 6,000-square-foot parking area. Additionally, passengers can easily access the D Gates satellite concourse by taking inter-shuttle service from Terminal 1. Terminal 3

This 14-gate (E) terminal at the Harry Reid Airport caters to many international airlines and a few national flag carriers. The departure and arrival halls all feature boarding and deboarding facilities. The terminal also offers 10,000 square feet of duty-free stores and other retail stores and eateries.

Note—Breeze, Flair, Hawaiian, JetBlue, Sun Country, United, and WestJet Airlines provide check-in and baggage claim facilities at Terminal 3, but they operate out of D Concourse gates. Passengers can easily access Terminal 3 through the Automated Transit System available on the Zero Level.

Terminal 1

Passengers can locate the taxicab stand on the east side of the baggage claim at Terminal 2. If required, airport personnel can assist them by helping them queue up. 

Terminal 3

The taxi stand is outside Level Zero of Terminal 3 at the airport. Cabs are also accessible at the Rent-A-Car Center. Again, if assistance is required, contact the present airport staff.

Rental Cars

The Rent-A-Car Center is situated at 7135 Gilespie Street. It is just three miles south of the airport, providing easy access to the Las Vegas Strip and Interstates 15 and 215. The center operates 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, providing nonstop shuttle services to the airport terminals. 

Arriving Passengers 

After arriving at the Renta-A-Car center, head to the Car Return Garage following the signage directions. Upon reaching the concerned car rental company, return the vehicle and take the lane towards the ground transportation main entrance. 

Departing Passengers

Take the shuttle bus to reach the rental car center at just a three-mile distance from the terminal. From Terminal 1 baggage, head to level 1 ground transportation, and you can locate rental car services outside doors 10 and 11. From Terminal 3 shuttle pickup, you can find the service outside doors 51-54.

Public Transportation

The Regional Transportation Commission operates bus routes that connect the airport to the Las Vegas Strip and the Downtown area. You can take the Route 109 bus to commute directly between the airport and the Strip hotels. Terminal 1 passengers must reach Level Zero to take a bus and begin their journey. At the same time, the bus stop is located on Level 2 for passengers in Terminal 3.
